| 5/27/2356 Dear Journal It's been a year now. Can you believe it? A whole year since she died. I remember it as if it where yesterday though. We were sitting on a cloud watching the stars shoot across the sky. I t was so peaceful up there. It was the perfect moment until Nebulana joined the picture! It all happened so fast that I got scared. I tried to help her, but I wasn't much help. They were kicking and punching and Tenjou was using attacks I didn't even know she had! I tries to help her. I got a few good kicks in and I did my share of damage with fire, but then Nebulana threw me from her sight. It felt like I was miles away. It seemed like hours before I could even see Tenjou again. Before I could reach her it was too late. All I could see was Tenjou lying on the ground so weak, and so hurt. Then I heard Nebulana say, "I told you I would overcome you! When I come back next time the stars in the heavens will be mine!" I ran to my fallen friend. I held her hand in mine. She could only lay there barely able to speak and she said, "When I die you will take my place. You have been trained well. You will go and find the strongest Senshi you can and then you will come back and defend the heavens from Nebulana once again." "Take over for you?! How?!" I said frantically. "I'm not a Sailor Senshi; I'm only a guide- a guide to you! What do you mean by all of this?" "When the time comes you will know what I mean." Then I noticed a tear fall from her eye as she said, "You have a been s good guide and a good soldier. You have also been a good friend. I'll always be with you, watching over you. It will guide you as you have guided me. Promise me you will do what I have asked." I held my finger to her lips and said "Shhhh...I'll do it I promise." I tried to hold back my tears but one fell onto her hand. She smiled at me, then turned her head away, closed her eyes and breathed her last breath. It was all over. There had once been a great battler here in these stars, but now there was only stillness and silence. It seemed as though the stars themselves were mourning. My tears started to flow from my eyes. I couldn't stop them. I begged and pleaded for her to come back to me. As I held her in my arms I saw her start seed start to float away. Before I realized what I was doing I grabbed it and held it in my hands. I was holding her entire being in my hands, and that's when I realized what she had meant for me to do. I stood up and shouted, "Fetu Diamond Power-- Make-Up!" It all seemed to come so natural to me. As I stood there in my old friend's fuku I realized what she meant when she said she's always be with me. I felt her power rushing through me. She had become a part of me, and I was now a part of her. We were more inseperable now than we had ever been. It was as if she had heard my pleas for her to come back to me. Then I remembered my promise to her. I changed into my dragon form and started on my search to find Sailor Senshi to help me fight Nebulana once more. When I turned back to se my lifeless friend she was gone. I had nothing left for me here in the clouds; I only had what was to come. My past was gone and I wasn't sure what the future held for me. So I decided to live int he present and take life as it came. And with that my search began. |
