Part VIII. Today has been a very interesting day. I realized why I like my Eugene friends more than a lot of my Louisville ones. I enjoy knowing my
friends at a more intimate level. The people in Eugene are more open and accepting of differences. Louisville is rather closed
minded when it comes to people who walk to the beat of their own and unusual drummer. I tend to have better conversations
out in Eugene in a fairly large group. Here I do better with one or two people at a time. When we?re in a large group I get left
out. I?m there but not right in the action. My clan here has over 60 people so it?s hard to get to know people very well. Eugene
is a place where I feel very important for a change, like I can do something. I like Louisville since it?s where I grew up and
made the most wonderful friends that I have been having a great time with. I know Louisville the city and not really Eugene.
Kentucky is still backwards with the dumbest people like usual. Time for bed. End Part VIII.
