"Oh Summer, Sea, Holiday! And Ghosts, too!"
Air date: 1992.08.01
Serena, Amy and Raye stepped off the train platform and looked out at the ocean, Naru (Molly) being unable to come along because the girls promised Luna they'd do Sailor Soldier training.
Raye pulled out a map to look for the inn they'd be staying at: the Pension Adams. The ad says: "A manor where you can see the beautiful sunset. Private beach with pure white sand." Ray made reservations there because it was dirt cheap.
Serena begins to daydream about herself suntanning on a beach filled with hunky guys. Motoki (Andrew) appeared and offered her a tall fancy drink. Serena was starry-eyed. Then she saw Tuxedo Mask wind-surfing. When she finally snaps out of it, Amy and Ray had left her behind.
They get lost in the woods trying to find the inn. Sakiko, the innkeeper's daughter, arrives to point them in the right direction.
Once arriving there, they are greeted by Sakiko's father and three helpers, a wolf-man, a Frankenstein monster, and a ghost lady. Sakiko's father warns Sakiko not to get involved with these frivolous girls.
After dinner, the Scouts and the helpers all hear moaning noises. Then a ghostly form floated across the lobby and then disappeared. The helpers insisted they saw nothing, though it was obvious they were lying. Ray believes it isn't a youma, but it was very strong, whatever it was. It wasn't a ghost, it had more raw power than that.
Upstairs, Sakiko and her father were in a darkened room. Sakiko's father had hypnotized Sakiko, but was now waking her from her trance.
The next day, the Scouts spend the day on the beach. Amy noticed that Sakiko hadn't come out of her room in the morning. However, Serena was more upset that Amy brought a textbook with her. She convinces Amy to let loose and have fun.
Sakiko watched the girls from the top of the cliff.
Later, the girls returned to the lodge. Ray went to the dining room and placed anti-evil seals on all the chairs. Ray walked by a room and noticed the ghost-woman, wolf-man and Frankenstein monster huddled together, talking and looking frightened. Raye wondered what was really going on.
Outside, Amy found Sakiko standing alone at the clifftop. Sakiko already knows their names. Amy asks if Sakiko is lonely, because she looks like the way Amy was until just a while ago.
Then, Sakiko's father appeared and took Sakiko away, warning her that she shouldn't talk to strangers. He hurts her when he grabs her by the arm. Sakiko's father took her up to her room. He reminds Sakiko that she has very strong psychic power and must be able to control the power at will. He will help her, through hypnosis. Then he can show everyone that their family's psychic power isn't phony.
Serena tiptoed down the stairs of the hotel. It was dark, and Serena clutched her pillow fearfully. Serena peeked in through a slightly open door. The Frankenstein monster and the wolf-man were praying in front of an altar.
Upstairs, Sakiko's father tells Sakiko to materialize the ghost to scare away the Scouts. Amy finds then and tells him to stop. He doesn't. The ghost attacked Amy with a blast of wind that knocked her out the window. The ghost began destroying the room. Sakiko's father realizes then that he can't control it. Sakiko's father ran outside, chased by the ghost.
The girls transform into Sailor Scouts. Sailor Mercury ran to Sakiko, to wake her up.
"I can't stand it anymore..." mumbled the semi-concious Sakiko.
Sailor Moon tried to attack the ghost with her Moon Tiara Magic, but a blast of wind from the ghost knocked her and Sailor Mars away. Then Sakiko woke up, but the ghost didn't vanish like it should have.
The ghost came at Sakiko and Sailor Mercury. Mercury tried to fight the ghost, but it knocked her off her feet with a blast.
Mercury believes that Sakiko wishes to be free of her father's control was enhanced and the ghost started to act on its own. Sakiko's father apologizes to Sakiko, but the ghost came at them. However, Sakiko vanquished the ghost with her own power.
Sakiko's father apologized to the Sailor Soldiers. He wanted to prove that Sakiko had this powerful ability, knowing she hated doing it but went on with the training, and used the guests of the lodge as test subjects. The staff had been trying to exorcise the ghost. Later, Sakiko's father told his staff there would be no more ghosts or mysterious happenings at the lodge.
A little while later, the Scouts, Luna, and Sakiko all play on the beach while Sakiko's father watched happily.
