The Past There was once a beautiful and peaceful kingdom called the moon kingdom known as the Silver Millenium, which was ruled by Queen Serenity. She had two feline court advisers named Luna and Artemis. She also had a daughter named Princess Serenity. There were also four female warriors who protected Princess Serenity, they were also her friends. They were Senshi Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury. The princess of the moon, Princess Serenity had secretly fallen in love with the prince of earth, Prince Endymion. A royal ball was held. Princess Serenity danced with a handsome man in a tuxedo and mask, who was her beloved Prince Endymion in disguise. They danced through out the night, unaware of evil lurking by. All was at peace until Queen Beryl attacked, she turned the people of earth against the moon kingdom, in attempt to conquer the universe. The sailor senshi tried to defend the kindom, but were defeated. During the battle, Prince Endymion was killed while protecting Princess Serenity. Princess Serenity then finally chose to kill herself. Queen Serenity defeated Beryl with her moon wand. She had used the ginzuishou, a powerful silver imperium crystal to seal Beryl and her minions in a region known as the Dark Kingdom, also sending all the children of the moon, her daughter, the prince, including the court, and the cats to the future to be reborn on Earth.
