She was quiet
Too quiet
She was thoughtful
Too thoughtful
Her eyes were filled with false laughter
Her voice with false happiness
Inside she was sad
And contemplating
She could only remember the annoyance
The horrid looks and glares
The whispers behind her back
The laughing and the stares
She didnt fit in, couldnt fit in
It wasnt possible to be herself
There were two different people in her
The philosopher and the fashion
Friends she felt were not friends
Everything was deception and lies
Too much torment
Too much people despised
She knew not her path
Where to turn to know
No friends, a loner
More lonely than all the Earth
No was to be trusted
No one really could
They hated her inside
No matter what they said
It hurt her to live each day
And it hurt too much
In the end
The pain overwhelmed
People learned too late
To open their door
Their hearts, their minds
Shouldnt be locked
Underneath the stony hearts
Underneath the locked up masks
If they opened up they could see
The girl as she really was
