You see the face and hands
The dimple on the cheek
The shortness of the body
The person that is meek
But I am here to tell you
Theres a person thats inside
A person that is different
One you can confide
Insides an endless wonder
This person who was strange
Insides a new beginning
This person who can change
Whats inside is a person
So very just and kind
Ignore the wagging tongue
This one is more refined
Whats inside is an angel
So sweet and caring too
Her voice so melodic
Her eyes an endless blue
Outside is the person
That youve always known
But the person thats inside
A different person can be shown
Ignore that outside body
For whats inside is more
Thats the real person there
The one youve been looking for
This person isnt bragging
Or annoying, not at all
She isnt very tiny
But then, shes hardly tall
Whats inside is something different
Something to change your views
And then, once you see her
Shes no more a simple "you"
Whats inside has been hidden
For you must be the one
To open up her heart
To unmask the shining sun
Shes skillfully just hidden
Far beneath the skin
And youll have to do more than talking
To see the girl free from sin
But until you truly know her
You wont see that one inside
Shell manage to avoid you
No matter how hard youve tried
Until then shes no one special
Annoying, yes, and true
But be careful what you say
Or youll never see the other
