I guess I'm jealous
I have to confess
Of what you may ask
Of my friend, I attest
She's prettier than I
And smarter as well
She's kinder than me
What's left to tell
She's cuter and faster
All around better, true
She's "perfect" for so many
And me? I'm feeling blue
Great sense of fashion
Her clothes are just right
She knows about makeup
Me? I'm a fright
Her clear bell voice
As to my ugly rasp
The green eyed monster
Has me well within his grasp
"It doesn't really matter"
I wish I could say
But that ain't so true
Until this very day
But if I could change myself
I wouldn't be me
So I guess I have to say
"So much for jealousy"
