Kindness Shows

     Sometimes it seems so hard to find
     Those hearts of yet a gentler kind
     Willing to soothe away the dreams
     Everything much more than it seems

     Sometimes you can't find a comforting soul
     Willing to give up all good and gold
     To be by your side and always there
     To comfort you when in despair

     But sometimes you will seem to find
     A person that seems just so benign
     And everyone willing to be their friend
     Even until the very end

     It is at that point where kindness shows
     And because of that, friendship grows
     Many people dare to say
     That maybe, just maybe, I have a friend today

     And kindness shows through all around
     Making then happiness then abound
     With caring is kindness, thus friendship too
     So don't denounce what can be true

     Show some kindness in your heart
     And maybe then will troubles part
     And people won't hate you anymore
     With that there seems so much in store

     Kindness shows a long long way
     And can go on for a marathon day
     So let your kindness show through too
     And then let's see what changed for you
