There are things deep within me
That I tend to always hide
Things that are too personal
Things I conceal inside
These things I call memories
So very much to say
More things than you can imagine
Have been recorded from passing days
These memories I do hold dear
Because they hold the things I know
Everything creating me
The different places I did go
Without those lasting memories
I don't know what to claim
Would I be a different person
Or still be very much the same
But you are part of my memories
And therefore a part of me
And I won't ever forget your face
Even though you I might never see
Because you did touch my heart
Back when we were friends
These memories I do have of you
Are that much more precious to the end
I can't believe I will see you
Or meet you later on
But I will always have these memories
Until the time is dawn
