Time and again, you will see
The harsh truths of reality
The pain and suffering, all plainly there
It hurts to cry, even worse to stare
Time and again, the world will show
How much we just didn't know
About the environment, trying to save
And yet we dig them an early grave
Time and again, I shake my head
And inside, I do secretly dread
All the disasters, all the gloom
All leading up to an early doom
Yet, time and again I still find
Hearts of those of a gentler kind
Discovering those small, helping hands
Assisting everyone that they can
It's that small assistance that warms my heart
That make the other problems seem to part
And time and again I can smile still
Because, time and again, people have the will
