They see me as a perfectionist
A failure
A loser
A person who does too well
An over-achiever
A studier
A worker
A person who has no life
They see only the skin
The person outside
Not the person inside
The person who cares
They see an annoyance
A bug
A fly
Something to shoo
They turn their backs
Rather find something else to do
Not talking to me
Not if they can help it
They see a person who is 'too good'
A person who is high above
Whether daunting, or annoying
They stay away. Far away
They see this person
And it hurts
For I'm not really like that
But it's what they see
All they see
Is what they believe
And only they can see
The person that is not me
