Our lives are ruled everyday
By the clock upon the wall
And we make sure to watch it well
Always expecting another call
Our schedule is so important
We worry about being late
That small minute hand on the clock
Tells us when we're past the set date
Everyday we hurry
Never fast enough
Gotta go, run, speed
To get done all the stuff
But time brings destruction
With time, all does end
With time, people die
With time, we can not mend
We are ruled by time
And it affects us all
The vast mountain we must climb
And in the end, still do fall
But without time there is no goals
Without time, things don't pass
Without time, we're just stuck
And many things would still last
So we weigh the pros and cons
And decide that it's not that bad
We just need some more of it
The time we just don't seem to have
