     The words I am holding
     So close to my pounding heart
     I find it all too nervous
     To with these words then part

     These words are still so simple
     And yet them I can not say
     For with them there is danger
     In their own devastating way

     Words I am now hiding
     I don't know what to do
     Either way a gain or loss
     Which is right, which is true

     My lips are stiff and frozen
     And they will never tell
     The words locked so deep inside
     That I keep within my shell

     But maybe if you look
     Real closely at my eyes
     The words need not be spoken
     For in there the truth does lie
