Why do we claim freedom, and then create such harsh rules?
Why do we claim equality, if we say others are below us?
How can we consider perfection, if we cant even say Im sorry?

Why do we yell at someone who did something wrong, then perform the same duty?
Why do we shun people that are normal, and yet do shun ourselves?
Why do we diss other people for who they are, and yet keep the mask on our own face?

Why not reveal the real person, why not take that step forward?
Why dont we stop following the stream, and take the initiative?
Why must we follow in other peoples shoes?

What makes it so hard to say no to what is obviously right?
Is it really necessary to fold ourselves away, hiding the true person deep inside?
Cant we simply just accept people as they really are?

     Of course we cant.
     Its called society.
     Called majority.
     Its also called being scared.

     Scared of being different.
To be different is to be wrong.
To be wrong is to be shunned.
So we keep the mask on. And lie.
