Our world holds many
I am but one
Lots are born each day
I sit close to none
Percentage wise
Im less than three
In fact, if youll look
Youll not find me
I mean so little
I make no change
In fact most think
I'm rather strange
To most I appear
A nothing, blank
I hold a zero
Upon the river bank
Theyve said as much
That if I died
Theyd be happy
And wont have cried
Theyve mentioned it
Theyll get along
Better in fact
Without me to do wrong
Of all the people
That die each day
And those are born
Heres what I say
Youd think for me
I wasnt born
For they show no feeling
Only their scorn
They say nothing
When Im there
To show that maybe
They kind of care
But as it is
They dont miss at all
I dont exist
Im not even tall
Im a zero to most
Less than one to the rest
And yet maybe to them
Its for the best
