Well, after Armageddon the ranks of Gram Broker's Own have been depleted but new recruits have been enlisted and are already being kitted out.The regiments standard rosta consists of 3 companies, Adam, Baker and Charlie. Recruitment permitting, all companies are kept at maximum strength;Remember, these troops also perform riot control and policing duties on Praetoria itself.

Here is the 1st. platoon of charlie company on parade before leaving for Armageddon.

Each platoon consists of 3 squads and a command section, making 35 men per platoon. Each squad carries at least one heavy weapon. Normal company strength consists of 3 platoons. 2 platoons are at present receiving basic training at Camp Phaedor. The command platoon consists of five men, which would normally include a colonel, a commissar and a standard bearer. It should be noted that although the regiment, pro forma, has commissars auditing it, they are not really required as the level of discipline amongst the praetorians is the highest you can get. Anybody disobeying orders lands directly in the salt mines - without trial and without exception. The commissars accompanying the regiment regard it as a priviledge to serve with the praetorians.

Each command platoon is fully equipped with heavy weapons support units consisting of 3 mortars, 3 heavy bolters, 3 autocannons and 3 lascannons.

The following tanks provide heavy support: 1 leman Russ, 1 vanquisher, 1 Demolisher.

As the praetorians pride themselves on doing everything themselves, the regiment recruits no abhumans such as ogrins or ratlings. To compensate an elite troop of stormtroopers and snipers have been recruited on Praetoria itself and are being equipped and trained at Camp Breuitas. The stormtroopers will hopefully boost the close combat effectivness of the regiment.

At present on order are 3 salamanders, 2 hellhounds and a basilisk. The basilisk will give the regiment the long range firepower it now lacks, while the salamanders and hellhounds will form a rapid deployment squad (armoured cavalry) enabling troops to be moved quickly in riots or battles to where they are most needed.
