The day of uncertainty...
Arggh. Today has been very annoying. Relako and Paloma and I were going to do the make-up thing today, because Relako found out she didn't have any "commitments" today. But now we can't contact Paloma to find a good time! Arggh, I've called atleast six times, and Relako told me she left voice messages, but Paloma hasn't answered. Grr...
Also, the homework load isn't helping. Here, this is my homework list (I've already done most of it though):
Study for geophrapy quiz, read Touchstone 1.4 and fill out glossary electronically, assignment #14 for math, and redo the math test/hw, study French vocab for quiz on Monday, read handout for English, revise English poem, start Mango Street project, study for chapter 9 Earth Science test, watch this video for musical, and continue memorizing my lines. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
I've been doing the History reading 1.4 and filling out the glossary. God.
Abraham was born in Ur... He and the Hebrews circulated the idea of monotheism... The Old Testament, the Pentatuech, Exodus... David's son Solomon, dies 935 BC... Split in two, the northern half being called Israel... The Hebrews formed a covenent with God... Carthage, a North African colony of the Phoenicians...

The sick day...
Wow, I haven't blogged for ages! I just haven't had time with all this HOMEWORK! Anyhow, last night I had a bloody nose at like 4:00 in the morning, and it wouldn't stop! So I went to bed around 5:00 and I was so tired! Then I felt all sick at school cuz I had swallowed so much blood (yuck, that's sounds gross. Well, actually it is gross). And then during English, 7th period, I got ANOTHER bloody nose! So I've been nauseated practically the whole day. *sigh*
On a brighter note, I've started to make little needlepont eyeglass/cell phone/network card cases for my friends for their birthdays (even though I'm only on my first). I've almost finished Relako's! It's a cute little kitten with a bunch of flowers - it's called "Garden Cat". It's almost done! Just a little more of the background... Now everyone wants one! It takes SO LONG to make them, though.
Oh, and Relako, Paloma, and I are going to have a Halloween stand of October 31st. We're going to get make-up and stuff and make fake wounds etc. for people! Then we're going to give the money to UNICEF and my dad's foundation. It's going to be fun! I already have the liquid latex!
God I have so much homework. g2g do it all... And I have to finish packing for our Lava Caves pack check tomorrow. Aaaah! Not to mention all the musical stuff I have to do! Grrr...

OMG OMG OMG. I am so happy today! We finally got our musical parts, and I'm Katherine (the main female part)! Omg, I was completely not expecting it. I was sure it would be my friend Paloma, who has a really good voice. But I guess now that I think about it, it can't be her, because she has choir practice every Monday, so would miss half of the rehearsals. Relako and Lizzie and people keep saying "I told you so", but I am so surprised! I have 90 lines though, which totally sucks since most people have about 7. It's not fair for them or for me. Actually, now I only have 88...
I feel kind of guilty though, about being so happy. In class meeting today, we were told that Mrs. Hammond had died. She was one of the tutors, and she was really nice. She would bring in her dog, Hazen, and everyone loved him (the dog). I knew she had breast cancer, but I didn't know it was that serious. It was really depressing because some people were crying, and all the teachers were effected during classes.
So that's why I feel so guilty that I'm happy, but I can't help it.

Today's the 2nd anniversary of September 11. That's kind of creepy... It doesn't feel like it. Like last year there was this big ceremony and everyone cried and stuff, but this year there was almost nothing. We just had a communtiy meeting. And Relako and I were actually presenting in the meeting! Unfortunately for us, our PE teacher let us out 10 minutes or so late, so we didn't even have time to practice the script before we were on! It was crazy.
Also, today we have SO MUCH HOMEWORK. Every teacher seems to be having a test (yeah, I'm exaggerating), but I have SO MUCH!!
Today Relako and I and a couple other people auditioned during our free. again. And now I REALLY WANT TO BE MARGARET! She's like the perfect part for me! Unfortunately Relako and Paloma also want to be her. Everyone's jumped on the bandwagon! But I think Paloma's going to be Kate (the main part), because she got asked to read another scene. Oh well! We'll find out on Monday!
Oh yeah, and my body is really sore all over from PE. It's an effort just to move!

Yes! Today was a very exciting day. We had musical auditions, and Relako, Stephanie, Paloma, Hannah and I auditioned together during our free. It was really fun, because we were just kind fo singing our hearts out, but afterwards we couldn't stop singing! So we just kind of wandered outside singing at the top of our lungs, and people looked at us like they thought we were crazy (I wonder why!) We learned a few new songs for the audition, and I really liked this one about women's voting rights (it was set to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic), and it was fun! Now I want to be Margaret, but so does Relako. She can't seem to make up her mind.
And another plus for today, I only have math homework, cuz I did the rest of it yesterday! A minus though is that the bus was late to school AGAIN. It came at 8:30 and I completely missed advisory for the 3rd or 4th time!

Today was a REALLY GOOD DAY! I don't know why... Everything just kind of went my way! Oh, and we had our first after-school musical practice! We're doing a musical called "Kitty Hawk". It was written by our drama teacher and our music teacher, and it's about the Wright Brothers. The plot pretty much SUCKS, but the cool part is that we get to perform it at the Museum of Flight! I want to be either Kate (but she has TOO MANY LINES), Agnes, Harriet, or Margaret (probably Margaret). But it's just so exciting! Oh, and we have a really weird choreorapher.

I got a Siamese fighting fish today (aka Betta fish)!!! I am so happy that my mom actually stuck to her promise and got me one. He's red with iridescent green scales, and he's named Red Danube! Get it? Like "Blue Danube". Haha. Yeah, I thought that was pretty clever.
Isabelle's party last night was pretty fun - except for the fact that my mom made me where a skirt! Everyone else was wearing jeans! *Sigh* Relako and I didn't dance very much. Well, not at all. Instead we talked to different people, went up on the balcony, and discussed people's social lives (especially Garret and Paloma!)
Tonight I have another party, and it's 5 hours long! It's my friends' Kiri and Paloma's joint birthday dance thing (as if they hadn't already had a sleepover and another party). But it should be fun, because it's by the beach and we can swim and play volleyball and stuff. I'm going to arrive late though, because 5 hours is just too long!
All my homework is done except for French! Yay!

Today was a pretty good day. Surprisingly enough, I didn't get as much homework as I did yesterday! Well, actually, yesterday I thought we had this assignement in History, and it turns out it was for this weekend! But atleast that means that I don't have any History homework. Yay!
Tonight Isabelle is having a "garden party" at her house. I dunno what to wear, because I'm not sure if it's "too casual" or "too fancy". Oh well, whatever. The party should be fun, I hope. It's just that my foot hurts SO BAD. I had to wrap it in an ACE bandage and it still hurts!
My mom drove me to school this morning, because we were returning the gerbils. The long-dreaded return finally happened. I miss them, but it's not as bad as it could be, because my mom promised she would get me a Beta fish Saturday (good stress relief!). You see, a while back - April or something - I had a beta fish, but my mom accidentally killed it. And she promised she would get me another one. So it stands to reason that if I keep my promise, she'll keep hers. It's not as good, though.

God, today was the first day of school, and it was SO HECTIC. We got 5 assignments, and it's the first day! I can't believe it. Luckily I don't have sports practice until the spring. I've finished all of my homework except for math, I can't get these two problems. And we had a really bad bus driver this morning. First she took a wrong turn, so we had to talk her back en route to get to the last bus stop. Then she was on the wrong side of the street, so the people at the bus stop had to cross the street. Then we tried to turn around to get back onto I-5, so she drove past Seattle Prep, and she was turning and got stuck between a car and a telephone poll. We arrived half and hour late on the first day of school. Just my luck. Fortunately, Relako reserved a top locker for me. Thank you!
Another thing, my mom has been using the phone the whole afternoon talking to my Auntie Vicky because her husband (Uncle Wilson), has asked for a divorce because he went on a business trip to China and met a girl there. Poor Auntie Vicky. Well, today's been a pretty hectic day.

PS - The gerbils are home!

Yesterday I got back from Victoria. It was so fun! My parents and I went to museums and gardens and other stuff! I wish summer could go on forever, but the sad truth is that school starts tomorrow. And we still don't have our schedules! I don't even know who my advisor is!
Yesterday was my friend Aisha's birthday, now she's 14! Wah! Everyone's getting so old.

PS - I don't think I will be having a blinkie every day anymore, it is taking up too much room. So I will only be using blinkies if I feel the need to express my feelings or what not.
