Chapter 1
It was April 1st, the first day of spring. The trees swaded back and forth as the wind blew. Cherry blossom petals fell as Sakura walked to Madison's house. Madison called her today asking to come over.
Sakura: I wonder why Madison called...
She walked on and soon was there. It was getting dark..Sakura knocked on the door.
Sakura: Hello is anyone there?
The door opened slowly. It was dark inside. There was a dim light coming from ahead.Sakura went to see what it was.There was a note and candle on a table.It said the following:
Dear Sakura,
Please go to the backyard. You will
meet me there in the garden. Please hurry though...
-Madison
Sakura: Could Madison be in danger? I must hurry!
Sakura started to run to the door where the backyard was.She tripped a few times because it was dark.Soon she approached the backyard door. Sakura slowly opened the door.On the picnic table was note: Sakura you have made it this far,
Now it is time to move on,
But please dont forget us,
We will try to help as much as we can...
Sakura:What..?
Suddennly...
Everyone: SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAKURA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sakura was shocked, her heart beat was running fast, her eyes widened as she saw everyone wearing party hats.
Madison walked up.
Madison: Happy Birthday Sakura!
Sakura: Wow! Thank you so much Madison!
Madison:Thats what best friends are for!
Everyone came. Kero, Tori, Julian, and all her friends from school including Li. Eriol came too.
Soon the party started. The music, the decorations,the food, the presents, and the night sky made it the best birthday party Sakura had.
Sakura: Li come on lets dance!
Li Blushing: Me..?!? Well I ... I'm going to get a drink.....
He ran to the snack table nervously.
Li thinking: Me dance with Sakura?!?!
Everyone started to eat the cake. It was huge with birthday cake with candles, frosting, and a lot of decorations.
Sakura: Sigh...Madison has done it again.
Kero Stuffed with food: I'll say! Yummmmm!!!!!!!!I want another piece!
Then Madison made an announcement.
Madison: Ok everyone! It is time to get your presents and give them to Sakura!
Sakura was seated in a soft chair as one by one everyone handed her a present.
Tori: Hey squirt!.....Happy Birthday.
Sakura: Thanks Tori.
Tori gave Sakura a stuffed bear with a black bow.
Next was Julian.
Julian: Happy Birthday Sakura.
Julian handed her wrapped box. She opened it. She was given a skirt type dress.It was pink and had roses printed on it.
Sakura slightly blushing: Wow.Thank you!
Then some of her friends gave her some presents.
Madison walked with a huge box next to her.She ordered her maids to open it. It was a costume.
Madison: I figured that when you have another adventure you could wear this!
Sakura with a sweet drop:Wow, great!
Kero popped up next.
Kero: Happy Birthday Sakura!
Kero handed her a box of cookies. They had faces of her friends.
Sakura: Oh Kero, how cute!
Eriol came up next. He handed her a book.
Eriol: Happy Birthday Sakura. This book is about the clowbook and Clow Reed.
Sakura: Thank you!
Everyone handed her a present except for Li.
Madison: Hey where is Li!
He was gone.
Tori: Forget about him!
Sakura with a frown on her face: Tori!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was getting late and the guests were leaving. Li still didnt show up.
Madison: Oh wait till I get my hands on him.....
Sakura: Its ok Madison! I had a great time....Bye!
Madison:Ok Good night!
Li behind the bushes: Oh sorry Sakura I couldn't have gave you this in front of everyone.I 'll give it to you tomorrow.
*************Next Morning*************
The next day came as Sakura was walking to the market to get some ingredents for pancakes. She stopped and looked around.
Sakura: This is strange. Where am I?
Sakura was surrounded by flowers.
Sakura: How beautiful!
She walked toward the flowers and noticed that her clothes changed into what Julian gave her for her birthday, but she still went on.
In the meanwhile, Li was looking for Sakura.
Li: Sigh... maybe I should of gave it to her yesturday.
.........Huh? where am I.
He was at the same flower field as Sakura, just a few feet away. Li saw her and bent down to hide. Sakura was singing, dancing, and picking flowers. The the wind blew through her hair. She looked so beautiful. Li stared at her.
Li: She looks so graceful.
Sakura heard someone talk.
Sakura: Hum...anyone here!?
Li stoud still.He didnt even breath. Sakura looked back and then started to sing and dance again....untill she tripped and fell. Li popped out.
Li: Sakura!
He ran to her to see if she was ok.
Li: Sakura are you ok?
Sakura: Yeah I'm ok, but what are you doing here?
Li lightly blushing: Well I was looking for you when I came here and saw you dancing.
Sakura embarrissed: Oh no!
Li blushing harder: It was good...
Sakura: Thank you...
Li then remembered.
Li: Oh here.
He handed her a small box. She opened it carefuly.
Sakura: Oh Li...!
Li gave her a necklace with a crystal hanging from it.
Sakura lightly blushing: It's beautiful!....
Li blushing hard: Um... do you like it?
Sakura: I love it!
She came close to Li and gave him a kiss on his cheek. He turned red instantly like the red bandana he was wearing.
Sakura smiled softly.She tryed to get up but couldn't.
Sakura: Ouch.
Li saw the wounded ankle. He took his bandana and wrapped it around her ankle.
Sakura smiling: You didn't have to do that...
Li lightly blushing: Its ok.
Sakura: Urm...Do you know where we are Li? I was just walking when I came upon this place and my clothes changed.
Li looked at his clothes.
Li: Ahhhhhh! Sigh. My clothes changed too!
Li wore a red shirt and blue pants.He had a belt that held his sword. He also would have that red bandana aound his neck but its around Sakura's ankle now.
Sakura: It looks nice on you.
Li: Huh?
...............
Soon it started to get dark.
Li : I think we should get going home.
Sakura nodded:Yeah but how?
Li thought and then heard water.
Li: Sakura there is water around here.
He began to walk to it with Sakura behind. They approached a waterfall with flowers and trees around it.
Sakura: Wow how beautiful.
Her eyes sparkled as Li just rolled his.
Li: Let's go flower girl!
Li grabbed her hand ( noticing and starting to blush ) and walked on until they saw a small bridge. Li then let go of her hand.
Li: Let's cross it.
Right then someone or something grabbed Sakura's hand and kissed it lightly.
Sakura: Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
She hid behind Li and he took out his sword.
Li: Show yourself!
A tall young man about Li's age wearing a red cafe stepped out and bowed.
Young Boy: Sorry to startle you, but I couldn't of left such a beautiful hand dangle.
Sakura look at her hand and blushed. Li put his sword back and sighed. Sakura stood next to Li.
Young Boy: Where are you headed?
Li: We're lost.
Young Boy: I'm in training so I have to go.
With a blink he was gone.
Young Boy in a evil tone: Maybe I drain his power and make that pretty girl marry me! Mwahahahahahahahahaaa!
......
Sakura: He's was nice.
Li: Lets go!
.....
They crossed the bridge and walked in when they saw a hill with a tree on it.
Li: Lets rest here for awile.
They both sat against the tree. After awile when Li was about to stand up Sakura's head dropped on his shoulder. He blushed lightly.
Li thinking: I guess it is late.
He slowly placed her on the ground. Li moved a little away from her and went to sleep.
Li smiling: Good night Sakura.
********Next Morning********
Next morning came and Li woke and found Sakura gone.
Li: Sakura!
He looked at his clothes.They changed again! This time he wore a suit usually a prince would wear. He looked out at the river and saw someone in a beautiful princess gown. She turned around. It was Sakura!
Li blushing: Sakura...?
Sakura: Hi good morning...anything wrong?
Li: Did you notice our clothes changed again?
Sakura: Yeah, it's strange. I wonder why...
Li: We should get moving.
They walked untill the came upon an apple tree.
Li: Are you hungry?
Sakura: Yeah...
Li hit the tree with his hand and exactly two perfect apples fell into Li's hand.
Sakura clapping: Wow! Impressive! That was a great trick Li.
Li lightly blushing: Oh...thanks.Um here is your apple.
They ate the apple and were soon off.
They reached to a cave. All of a sudden it started to rain hard.They both ran for cover into the cave.
Sakura a little scared: This cave is creepy!
Li: Sigh...
Then...
Sakura: Ahhhhhhh!!!Li look!
Li turned and saw a dark creature coming toward Sakura.
Li: Sakura!
The creature was about to attack Sakura when Li attacked.
Li: Hiiiyaaaa!!!!!!
The creature vanished...
Li: You ok?
Sakura smiling: Yeah. Thanks Li...
From far away...a strange shadow watched Sakura and Li.
Shawdow: I guess I have to play a little harder...
Not until awhile the sun shined.
Li: Lets go.
....
After awile Li spotted something in the sky. Sakura used the float card they floated a cloud, but there was nothing.
Sakura: Sigh...(making a mad face at Li)...LI THERES NOTHING HERE!!!
Li sweatdropped: Take it easy Sakura...sorry...
Just then Li stopped.
Sakura: Hum? Anything wrong?
She looked back in shock. There was a man with wings and blue hair. He looked a lot like Yue, but more like a knight. Both Li and the winged man took out there sword, ready to battle.
Li: Sakura get back!
Just then as Sakura was going to the winged man grabbed gently Sakura, as she screamed, and carried her in her arms and flew away.
Li: Sakura!!!!!
Li started to run but couldn't bcause the cloud was small.
Li: Element Lightning!!!!!!
A strong lightning attack went to the man as he turned around and took out his sword and reflected the attack! It went toward Li with speed and hit with power. Li fell back falling off the cloud.
Sakura: Li!!!!!!!!!!!
A tear fell. The strange man put his sword back then look at Sakura with a warm smile. He placed his hand on her forehead and Sakura dazed off.
Meanwhile...
Li: AHHHHHH!!!!!!
He was falling...when sudenly he landed on something soft. Li landed on a huge bird. Controlling it was a knight who had feathers sticking out from the back of his head with a band holding it there. Li stared at it.
Zake: Oh! You might be wondering who I am...I'm Zake a special knight that can talk to animals. I belong to the west kingdom where I'm taking you.
Li thinking: Maybe Sakura will be there.
