The Princess of the East and the Prince of the West

Authors Note: HI! Sorry I didn't update my story yet. But there's something I’m going to change. I'm going to change the way I write my stories. I'm going to use " " now. Do you know the seasons? Well when in the first chapter it was spring, same with the second chapter. Then in the third chapter it was summer. The fourth chapter is fall. I haven’t really noticed that before!
So this chapter is going to be winter! In the world Li and Sakura are in has a fast season time! YAY! Hope you guys like it^_^

Chapter 5

The breezy wind blew against the windows. The noise woke up Sakura. She went to her windows to find that it snowed outside! The snow was a crystal white... all puffy and soft. She went down stairs in a hurry so she can tell everyone.

When she did get down stair, the whole kingdom was set decorated with golden ribbons, delicious food, and more. What really caught her eye was the tree, right in the middle of the kingdom. Ribbons, birds, lights, and a lot of other things were on the tree. On the very top was a gold star. Her eyes sparkled in joy, the joy that it was Christmas!

Will saw Sakura on the staircase. He came up to her. "Well, good morning princess. How are our decorations so far?" he asked bowing. "They’re dazzling! Great! Beautiful! I love 'm!" Sakura said looking around as the maids helped set up the place.

Sakura ran to the tree. There were so many presents. Some were even bigger then her. ‘Wow!’ Sakura thought. "Oh and Princess, the king has given you a selection of new clothes. Tonight we are going to a ball. People from both east and west kingdoms will be there." Will brought a stack of clothes to Sakura's room and then left. As soon as he did leave she thought of something ‘LI!‘

~Meanwhile~

"Prince! Prince! Prince!" A butler came running to Li. "Oh hi. What's the matter?" Li answered back.

"The king told us the we are going to a ball and both East and West kingdoms are going to be there." the butler said panting. Then he ran out of Li's room and slipped. "Heeheheeee. I'm ok." The butler got up and then was on his way. All Li could do was laugh. ^.^

‘HEY Sakura might be there! WOW! I better get ready!‘ Li thought.

~~Time passes by~~

It was 6:00 pm. People were arriving to the ball. It was really crowded. Li was sitting on a chair. He was pretty early. Next to him was an empty seat. There Sakura would sit. ‘Where is she? Is she not coming?’ Li thought to himself.

He went to get a drink and when he came back, guess who was there? "Sakura!" Li said.

Sakura turned and found it was Li. "LI!"

But there was no time to talk. The crowd huddled around them two. Li grabbed Sakura's hand and pulled her away blushing... 'I gotta stop doing that.’

Li brought her to an open area. They sat next to next to each other… and then Sakura spoke “Li…I-I am still wearing the neck---lace you gave me…” she said blushing. Li turned to Sakura, and saw the necklace.

He smiled and turned to find someone really familiar. “Hey Sakura…doesn’t it seem like we saw him before?” he asked pointing.

“Oh my! It’s that boy we saw when we were crossing the bridge! REMEMBER?”

Li turned red, this time with anger… “How can I forget,” he mumbled.

The boy saw Li and Sakura and quietly grinned. The boy had blonde hair and blue eyes.
Unusually he was wearing the same clothes when they saw him…
He started coming towards them.
