Love This Way

Sakura sat by her desk trying to figure out a math problem.

"Need help?" Kero asked as he saw the frustrated Sakura.

Sakura replied, "You never give me the right answer anyway."

Kero said, "Don't you mean your teacher?"

"Kero, this is the 21st century." Sakura said.

"What does that mean? There's nothing wrong with my answers!" Kero said as he crossed his two little arms in front of his chest.

Sakura said, "Never mind, Kero."

Kero asked, "What's wrong with my way of finding the answers?"

The phone rang. 'Good timing.' Sakura thought.

"Kinomoto residence! May I help you?" Sakura asked.

Tomoyo exclaimed, "Hey Sakura!"

"Tomoyo!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Wanna go to that new club tonight?" Tomoyo asked. (AN: They're about 15 years old)

Sakura replied, "I gotta ask my dad first, but I don't think he'll mind."

Tomoyo said, "Great! Meet you there at 7:00, okay?"

"Kay!" Sakura exclaimed.

Tomoyo added with gleam in her eyes, "Don't forget to stop by at my house before we leave, okay?"

'She's probably going to make me try new clothes.' "Okay. Bye!" Sakura said. Sakura hung up the phone and went back to her homework.

"I'm never going to finish this in time." Sakura groaned.

Sakura walked out of her room and into the kitchen. Her dad stood by the stove cooking dumplings.

"Hey dad, could I go over to Tomoyo's house and then somewhere to eat later on?" Sakura asked.

Fujitaka answered, "No problem."

Sakura smiled and exclaimed, "Arigato!" Sakura skipped back to her room and finished her homework.

When it was 6:30, Sakura got on her bike and headed toward Tomoyo's house in a sky blue T-Shirt and blue shorts. (AN: It's springtime.)

Sakura rang the doorbell. Tomoyo went to the door and opened it.

"You made it!" Tomoyo exclaimed as she led Sakura to her studio.

Sakura sat in a chair and asked,"Why did you ask me to stop by?"

Tomoyo took out a dress and said, "I made this for you to wear tonight. Go on, try it on!"

"Oh, alright." Sakura said as she went to the bathroom.

Sakura walked out with the dress on. It was pink with cherry blossoms along the edges and straps in a netlike pattern on her back. The dress was a little pass her knees. The sleeves were a little below her shoulders and it had a V-neck. It came with pink sandals and a pink ribbon for her hair.

Tomoyo said,"Hold up, let me get my video camera!" She quickly walked to her room and brought out a camera. "Are you ready to go?"

Sakura exclaimed, "Sure!"

When they got inside the club, Sakura saw Syaoran sitting at a table, waiting patiently for someone.

Sakura walked up to Syaoran and exclaimed, "Hey Syaoran! Waiting for someone?"

Tomoyo said, "I invited him to come along."

Sakura and Tomoyo sat down with Syaoran. Sakura sat next to Syaoran and Tomoyo sat across from them.

Syaoran asked, "Why did you ask me to come along?"

Tomoyo giggled and replied,"I wanted to you to see something."

Syaoran asked, "See what?"

Tomoyo answered, "You'll see." Syaoran looked at her suspiciously.

Tomoyo turned to Sakura and asked, "Hey, Sakura. Wanna try their karaoke?"

Sakura asked, "By myself?"

"That's not a problem, is it?" Tomoyo asked.

"No." Sakura answered looking suspiciously at her friend.

Tomoyo exclaimed, "Great! I already picked a song. You'll start singing in three minutes."

Sakura asked, "What song is it?"

"I wouldn't want to spoil your fun." Tomoyo replied.

Syaoran thought, 'Tomoyo is up to something. I can tell.'

Sakura asked, "Can't you give me a clue, Tomoyo?"

The host got up on the stage and announced, "Sakura Kinomoto is going to sing us a song. Sakura Kinomoto?"

Tomoyo replied, "You're going to find out."

A spotlight shined on Sakura as she walked up to the stage. Sakura sat on a wooden stool and brought the mic closer to her. She looked at the little television screen in font of her. Music started to play as Sakura sang the words.

Sakura sang, "I wanna run into someone's arms, lie on a bed of roses. I wanna feel just like Juliet; I wanna fall in love. I got a feeling. Everybody wants someone to love. Somebody they can trust, somebody they can touch. Everybody wants to give their heart away."

Syaoran blushes madly as he realizes the lyrics.

'KAWAII!' Tomoyo thought in delight as she tapes Sakura and Syaoran.

Sakura sang, "Everybody needs a little tenderness, to feel understood, to feel passionate. Everybody wants to be in love this way." Sakura blushes at what she's singing.

Sakura continues, but looks at Syaoran, "I know I do, what about you?" Syaoran notices that Sakura is looking straight at him and blushes.

"I wanna be somebody's baby. I want to cry and still feel beautiful. Maybe I really just wanna be myself. Am I the only one? I got a feeling." Sakura sang.

*Flash back*

Sakura is crying by the swings about Yukito. She put her head on Syaoran shoulders and keeps on crying. Syaoran handed her a tissue and says,"I understand your feelings."

Sakura sobs, "Yukito says, one day I will find a someone who loves me as much...."

Syaoran says,"I hope you will find that someone one day." Sakura nods a "thank you"

*Flash ends*

Sakura smiles as she realizes something and continues to sing, "I wanna feel like an angel. I want to fly on a beam of moonlight. I wanna see heaven from the inside. I wanna feel in love this way. I wanna feel just like Juliet, Juliet, Juliet."

Syaoran remembers the day Sakura was crying by the swings and thought, 'How can I ever tell her? I'm afraid that she might reject me. It's no use.'

Sakura finished, "Everybody needs a little tenderness. To feel understood, to feel passionate. Everybody wants to be in love this way, hey."

The crowd stood up cheering and whistling at Sakura. Sakura bowed and went back to her table.

Tomoyo shouted, "KAWAAAAIIIIIIIIIII!!!"

Syaoran got up quietly and said, "You sang pretty good." Syaoran walked out of the club.

Sakura shouted, "Syaoran, wait!" Sakura followed Syaoran.

Sakura looked around and saw Syaoran heading toward the park. When they got to the park, Syaoran suddenly disappeared.

Sakura thought, 'Lost him.' Sakura concentrated on his aura and followed it.

She found him sitting in a tree, so she decided to climb the tree.

When she got to the top, she asked, "Why did you leave so early?"

Syaoran lied, "I just wanted to get some fresh air that's all." 'Here's my chance to tell her. I got to say it.'

Sakura looked at Syaoran with a worried look and asked, "Is something wrong?"

Syaoran replied, "I've got to tell you something."

Sakura got closer to him and asked, "What is it?"

Syaoran looked into her emerald eyes that capture his attention. They were always full of joy and life. They made his soul feel free. It would break his heart to see her sad.

Sakura blushed because Syaoran was staring at her.

"I wanted to tell that (whispers very quietly) Ashiteru, Sakura." Syaoran said.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't hear you." Sakura said.

Syaoran took a deep breathe and said more loudly,"Ashiteru, Sakura."

Sakura was shocked. 'Syaoran loves me?'

'I knew it, she doesn't like me.' Syaoran thought sadly as he saw Sakura's confused face.

Syaoran started to climb down the tree when Sakura exclaimed, "Ashiteru Syaoran!"

Syaoran went back up to Sakura and asked,"You do?"

"I never realized it until I sang that song. I remembered how you often cared for me and comforted me. Especially that time when we were by the swings." Sakura said.

Syaoran said, "I've always loved you for a long time, but didn't have the guts to tell you. I thought that you would reject me."

"Syaoran afraid?" Sakura giggled. "Now, who would reject my 'Little Wolf'?"

Syaoran didn't get mad, he was giggling with her.

Syaoran got closer to Sakura and gently pulled her closer. Then he started to kiss her. Sakura was shocked, but then calmed down and returned the kiss.

Syaoran put his arms around Sakura and whispered, "Ashiteru Sakura, forever."

Sakura whispered, "Ashiteru Syaoran, forever."

When they both saw a gleam of red light, they both exclaimed, "Tomoyo!"

Tomoyo came out from behind a tree and exclaimed, "KAWAII! And I've got it all on tape!"

Syaoran climbed down the tree and helped Sakura down.

Tomoyo said, "Finally, you two get the courage to tell one another."

Sakura asked, "You planned this all along?"

Tomoyo nodded and said, "I knew you two like each other, so I kinda helped."

"You're like our matchmaker." Syaoran said.

Tomoyo smiled and said, "You could say it like that. Come, on! Let's go to a restaurant or something."

Sakura exclaimed,"Sure! I'm starving!"

"You're starting to sound like Yukito!" Syaoran laughed.

Sakura playfully hit Syaoran lightly on the arm. "Let's go!" Sakura exclaimed.

Along the way, Sakura and Syaoran was walking arm-in-arm with Sakura resting her head on Syaoran shoulder.

Tomoyo feels great satisfaction with her accomplishment. 'So, Kawaii...'

This is my first fan fic I ever wrote. If you don't like it, I can understand. I got my idea from a song called,"Love This Way" sang by Eden's Crush. It's one of my favorite songs and the lyrics are okay.
