Chapter 4: Escape, Tomoyo, and Eriol explain. LOST!!
"All right, c'mon, while the door is still open." Chikaru said.
"Uhhh...For a moment there I actually thought I was going to fall asleep." Sakura said, rubbing her eyes with her small fists.
"Me too." Julie said stretching.
"Me three." Meiling began to stretch too.
"C'mon girls. We don't have ALL night." Chikaru emphasized.
For the first time that night, they actually saw what a Perscon was. There she was, Chikaru, a Perscon. She was tall with gentle crystal blue eyes, long, curly, dark brown hair at about thigh length, and cat-like ears of a soft brown color. Inside her ears was of a soft pink color. On the edge of inside her ears were what seemed to be little holes. (Author’s Note: You know Bartock in Anastasia and how he has those little holes on the inside edge of his ears? Same here except for the style of the ears.)
"Hoooeee!" Sakura exclaimed, stepping back always before getting the courage to step forward again.
"It's okay," Chikaru said, "I won't hurt you"
"I-I k-knew t-th-that." Stammered Sakura. She now thought of Syaoran. Were they looking for the three missing girls?

"Mom, we have been walking for hours." Syaoran said.
"We are almost there. See that castle? That is where my friend Chikaru lives. She knows where Sakura is." Yelan just pointed at the castle.
They rounded a corner and found themselves at the foot of a castle. "I-Is that w-where Chi...ka...ru lives?" Syaoran stared blankly at the big castle before him.
The castle was made of a type of solid grey stone. It had tall blue spires at the top of every quarter. The big bulkhead doors swung open revealing four figures, three short and one tall.
"Sakura!" Syaoran yelled running up to her, holding her tight in his arms.
Sakura hugged back tightly too. "I...I was so scared." She sobbed into Syaoran's shoulder after the hug released. "I...I...thought he was going to hurt me." She lifted her head, staring at Syaoran right in the eyes. She was slightly trembling with tears pouring down her face. Her emerald eyes were glittering from the tears.
"It's okay. I'm here Sakura-San." Syaoran hugged her again.
The moment of sadness and fear broke when Chikaru said, "Well, is this the Syaoran you were telling me about on the way out of the castle?" She asked coming into the light.
"Oh, my..." Syaoran began to say but Sakura broke it.
"Don't curse Ran-Kun." She said, calling him 'Wolf' and not 'Little Wolf’. He got red.
"I'm sorry. I did not tell you Syaoran. You know what a Perscon is. I introduce you to my friend, Chikaru." Yelan said.
"Oh. Hai, hai, hajimemamashite Chikaru." Syaoran said.
"I'm fine.” Chikaru gazed at Sakura. “What a gentleman your friend is." Chikaru said, smiling intently at Syaoran and Sakura. Syaoran’s hands were on Sakura's waist, Sakura's hands were on Syaoran's shoulders, and they stayed kind of...close. (Author’s Note: KAWAIII! To all those S+S fans out there, *Gives everyone paper bags to control their breathing* that should help all of you nervous people.) (Editor’s Note: Oh please... Be mature...)
"We will leave you two alone." Yelan motioned for everyone to follow her, leaving Syaoran and Sakura alone. (Author’s Note: I'm evil, I know. They are alone what will they do? *Wink* Incoming all S+S fans, get your breathing bags ready.) (Editor’s Note: Pure evil...*Sigh* Only in FanFiction.)
There was a very silent moment before the couple went to the stone bench not too far from where the entrance was. Sakura was staring directly at Syaoran’s lush amber eyes...her head slightly bent upward (She was a little shorter than Syaoran). Syaoran bent his head slightly down, gazing directly into Sakura's big emerald eyes. For a moment they just stared, but then their heads moved closer, closer, closer... (Author’s Note: Huff, puff, huff. Yes, just like that everyone. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. *Continues to repeat the words*) (Editor’s Note: *Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale*) until... their lips touched, closing together. Their first kiss! Sakura was wide eyed and so was Syaoran. They settled down and closed their eyes. (Editor’s Note: *Faint*) After a few moments they broke the kiss.
"What just happened?" Sakura asked.
"Umm...don’t know." Syaoran was blushing madly.

(A few months later...) (Editor’s Note: Man! This is the longest absence from school ever! And one long trip to Hong Kong!)
"Alright Tomoyo...Eriol, explain." Sakura stomped out to the gardens where Tomoyo, and Eriol were.
"What? Explain what?" Tomoyo and Eriol chorused.
"You guys have been sneaking out every night and going in to the forest! Why have you two been doing that?" Sakura was really mad. Tomoyo hardly kept anything from her. Sakura kind of felt hurt.
"Alright. We'll explain at dinner. Yelan and the sisters already know. I'll tell you at dinner." Eriol said, brushing past her.
Tomoyo was still on the bench with a glint of guilt in her amethyst eyes. "Gomen-nasai. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. Eriol made me promise to keep it a secret. I've been dying to tell you." Tomoyo's guilt showed more in her voice than eyes.
"Apology accepted my friend." Sakura said, sitting down by her friend and hugging Tomoyo's shoulder with one arm.
"Arigatou Sakura." Tomoyo said, the guilt in her eyes now gone. The two headed for the dining room for dinner.

"...And so that is how we began visiting them from night to night." Eriol said. (Author's Note: Darn! We missed Eriol's story. Sorry people. I really don't wanna type a long ‘ERIOL speaking’ story.)
"Okay, I understand now. You say there are two more un-named foxes? Maybe, Syaoran and I can join you." Sakura said, eating the rest of her stew.
“Yes! Sakura that is a great idea!" Eriol exclaimed.
"Okay, what time do we leave then?" Sakura asked.
"How about 9:30 p.m?" Yelan replied.
"Splendid." Eriol exclaimed. "Let’s get all the rest we can, it will be a long night." Eriol rushed out of the room with the others following.
"Goodnight everyone. See you in two hours." Sakura said her goodnights.
"Good night Sakura." Everyone chorused, heading for their rooms.
Two hours later, the boys split up and went to wake the girls. Touya helped but he did not go. For some reason, Meiling didn't wanna go.
"Sakura, wake up. It’s time to head for the forest. Sakura." Syaoran said shaking Sakura gently.
"Mmm...Already?" Sakura asked. Her eyes were open barley, looking at Syaoran.
"Yes...Already." Syaoran said.
"Alright..." Sakura climbed out of bed, looked at her watch. It was 9:32 p.m. now. She went to her closet, turned the light on, and shut the closet door behind her. She emerged later in a pair of dark blue denim caprees and a light pink shirt with long sleeves that went past her wrists. She let her hair down from its pinned up position and it flow down to her waist, gleaming in the moonlight.
“Why is she beautiful” Thought Syaoran. He offered her a hand, she took it with her hand, and they exited the room.
(Meanwhile)
"Tomoyo...Wake up. It’s time to go." Eriol whispered, shaking Tomoyo gently.
"Mmm..." Tomoyo mumbled.
"Fine then. I'll just move to plan B" Eriol whispered. He moved his lips close to hers, his lips touched hers, but he broke it after 3 milliseconds. That got her up! Tomoyo stood straight up in bed. "Can we go now?" Eriol bugged.
"Let...*Gasp*...me get dressed." Tomoyo went over to her closet, turned the light on, and shut the door behind her. She emerged seconds later in the same thing as Sakura was wearing, except there was a light blue, long sleeve shirt.
"Shall we go?" Asked Eriol, offering her a hand.
"Yes we shall." Tomoyo smiled, taking her hand in his.

"Are you sure this is the way we always go Eriol? Not a thing looks familiar." Tomoyo was again clutching to Eriol’s arm for fear they were lost.
"I...I could have sworn this was the way to the opening round, but your right...nothing looks familiar. And Syaoran and Sakura have been awfully quiet back there." Eriol stopped and looked behind them. Sakura and Syaoran weren’t there! "Oh...Tomoyo...where are Sakura and Syaoran!?" Eriol was hoping the girl would know.
"What?! They are not there!" Tomoyo clutched tighter to Eriol when she saw they weren’t there.
"Umm...now...don't panic. Let's look for the clearing before we go running off, getting more lost." Eriol said, adjusting his glasses. Tomoyo now started to tear up. Hearing they were lost only made things worse for her.

"Sakura! Sakura! Wake up!" Syaoran yelled, shaking the unconscious girl in his arms.
They were farther into the forest but nowhere near the clearing Sakura and Syaoran had agreed to turn back hours ago and had taken a fall down a small drop off into a creek. Sakura got hit in the head by a rock. Her head was bleeding, but not badly. (Editor’s Note: I deleted an author’s note because it gave away some of the next chapter.) Syaoran had carried Sakura all the way up the slope and had settled on a trunk, both freezing from the water.
No sign of Sakura even moving...Syaoran felt her pulse, just fine. "I need to get her to a doctor." Syaoran mumbled. He stood up holding Sakura in his arms, and started walking, actually heading for the out way of the forest.

"Gee...Eriol we instead found our way out." Tomoyo exclaimed, happy to see the back of the Li Clan house.
"Shhhh...I hear footsteps." Eriol trained his sight a few yards from where they were standing...
"Look Eriol! Look it is Syaoran." Tomoyo ran towards Syaoran, stopping just short of him seeing Sakura unconscious. Eriol soon followed.
"What happened?" Eriol asked examining Sakura's head.
"We decided to turn back hours ago. Soon after, we fell down a small cliff into a shallow creek. Sakura hit her head on a rock. I had to carry her up a slope. She’s still unconscious, and needs help." Syaoran explained.
"I understand." Eriol said.
"Let's go." Tomoyo said.
"Okay, c'mon." Eriol let Tomoyo clutch the life out of his arm again as they headed through the night to the house’s back door, went inside, took care of Sakura’s head wound, lay her down on her bed in her room, and headed for their own.

(Author’s Note: I've run out of ideas for this chapter. See you in Chapter Five. Forget about the foxes. Moving on to Sakura’s dad. Accidents happen, and all in order of how it happens too. What will become of Sakura’s father? Read chapter five to find out!)
(Editor’s Note: Aww... I have to wait now? Well, I deleted another sentence from the author’s note for the same reason. Let’s just say that there’s going to be another accident.)
