Stubbs Cemetery

Stubbs Cemetery is located on Highway 129 (Abbeville Highway) in Abbeville,
Wilcox County, GA. It is in front of the Wilcox State Prison. Global
Positioning Coordinates are 31°59.169N and 083°18.289W.

The cemetery appears to have been established in the 1800s, is maintained,
and still in use. Markers include upright headstones, footstones, false
crypts, family markers, and flat markers made of slate, marble, granite,
and sandstone. Many stones have intricate carvings and engravings.
