MATT'S TOP TEN:
Performances by an Actor in the 90s.

For the past few weeks, I've been working on a list like this, but I couldn't narrow it down to ten, so mine's a Top 200 list. Naturally, it's taking me quite a bit of time to put 200 great performances in order from best to least-best, so mine will be up when I'm finished... (which shouldn't be too much longer now).

To hold you over 'till then, here's Matt's top 10. Compare his to Shawn's list here.

  1. Samuel L. Jackson: Pulp Fiction
  2. John Travolta: Get Shorty
  3. Kevin Spacey: The Usual Suspects
  4. Joe Pesci: Goodfellas
  5. Anthony Hopkins: The Silence of the Lambs
  6. Val Kilmer: The Doors
  7. Al Pacino: Dick Tracy
  8. Val Kilmer: Tombstone
  9. Robert De Niro: Cape Fear
  10. Tommy Lee Jones: The Fugitive

Think of this list (and Shawn's) like the Golden Globe Awards... they give you a taste of what the Oscars may bring, but most likely the same thing's won't win in both ceremonies. I will say that each of these performances did make it onto the SCP TOP 200, but not in the same order or anything.
This is Matt's list, and he gets to choose 'em the way he wants. If anyone else would like to put up a Top 10 list of anything just send it to the link at the bottom of the page.

Now that there are two lists up for this, I think it's kinda funny how all three of us chose some of the same people for our top ten (i've got the first 100 of mine in order and done, just gotta finish the other 100 before I post it). But we each have ones in our top 5 that the other 2 didn't put on the list at all. Not that's there's anything wrong with that, it's just kinda funny...
