Now, these are not films that have been turned into great games, but games that have been turned into films. Ones that really really suck are NOT allowed to be on this list, which made it kinda difficult because there aren't that many to begin with.
In case you didn't notice, most of this list are Anime (Japanimation) movies, and rightfully so since most video games come from Japan anyway. That's because, as I mentioned above, there aren't many VG films (yet) that are good. I mean for every hit like Tomb Raider there's a missed-by-a-mile like Street Fighter (the live action one). So nope, sorry I didn't include that pile of crap, or Super Mario Bros., Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (see my Top 10 Worst Sequels for more info), or Double Dragon.
