TOP TEN:
Vampire Films.

What is it about this bit of folklore that intrigues us so much, and why is it that it makes such a great subject. Is it the darker side of life, the underground subculture of the vampire lifestyle? Or maybe the intense senuality that drives the very being of these creatures. Whatever it is, these movies are not only great examples of the ways the vampire can break out of modern-day stereotypes, and entertain us in the process.

  1. Nosferatu (1922)
  2. Bram Stoker's Dracula
  3. Interview With the Vampire
  4. Near Dark
  5. Blade
  6. Vampire Hunter D
  7. The Lost Boys
  8. Dracula (1931)
  9. The Lost Boys
  10. Vampire$

A few that didn't make my list, but I feel are definately worth mentioning:

Innocent Blood
From Dusk Till Dawn
Dracula 2000
Blade II
Fright Night

But definately NOT The Forsaken. That sucked ass, and it was a complete ripoff of Near Dark and Lost Boys. Piece of crap, that should be the title.
