Samuel Leitch was possibily born in Scotland.

He married Rebecca Hay about 1785 possibly in Pennsylvania. Rebecca was born in Lyon County, Ireland.

Their children included Nancy Ann Leitch who was born in 1787. She married George W. Butler, their son, Roderick R. Butler married Emaline Donnelly. Their son George B. Butler is the one that I am descended from.

They had a large family and lots of little Browns while living in Wasco County, later Wheeler County.
