The Twins Letterbox

White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery
Surry County, North Carolina
Old Highway 601
White Plains, NC
Directions: From Winston-Salem, NC: From Interstate 40 take Hwy. 52 north 25 miles. Exit at Hwy. 268 west and go 8.5 miles. Turn north on SR. 1003, Siloam Rd., for 7.9 miles to Old Hwy. 601. Turn east for .7 miles to the church and cemetery on your left, the north side of the road.

In front of this cemetery is a simple white clapboard church built in 1858. Along side of this church building and cemetery is a new large brick church and an additional cemetery, both sitting a bit lower than this original cemetery and church.

Stand in front of THE tombstone. You'll know which one when you get there. Facing the tombstone, turn to your left and walk to the fence line. There, beside a skinny tree is the Twins Letterbox underneath a small rock.

Please be discreet and make sure the box is hidden well when you leave.
Thank You,
