Malo Jeb.
Thought I might as well give this a go while I've got some time.

'85: After 6th form Douglas and myself spent a year in Gisborne Boys High School struggling through 7th form
(I speak for myself ).

'86: From there we progressed to Auckland Uni where I started a BSc in Computer Science.  The Uni experience didn't do much for me though I stuck it out (and it was a long stick at that) - mainly hanging around my future wife, going to movies, learning how to play volleyball, basketball and generally mucking about.

'87 - '95: A bit more mucking around, a year off Uni, half a year at AIT, half a year in Samoa, a lot more mucking around and presto! I've got a degree! (BSc majoring in Math - Calculus), a Business computing cert. (which means next to nothing), a New Zealand Cert. in Engineering (Production) and am a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer - had to add all the certificates 'cause the 6 year degree would look mighty lonely on it's own.

'96: After finally escaping from Uni I started a 6 week temping job at AIT - customer services helpdesk - and have been there ever since.  I managed to get away from the helpdesk and into the systems department where I work in systems support - handling problems with the admin system, desktop publishing the Academic calendar, training people to use the system, writing user documentation, etc.

'97 - '99: After a year working I finally got a "yes" out my Uni honey (sorry guys I held out for the house hubby thing as long as I could, but she held out longer and I was sick of being broke).  We had a small wedding (sorry people, but  the family took up all my invites plus! and I couldn't find you Auckland lot - parts of the family are still angry with me for not getting their invites - damn Post Office!) and flew off to Singapore and Bali the next morning - had to add that as everyone seems to have been around the world and back.

We now live in Morningside, Auckland at her family home with her younger sister and both work at AIT (she lecturing in Communication Studies - for the past 7 years - yes it was a pretty cruisy mucking around period for me).  We have no children (unless you include are "microwave" children - nephews and nieces), are both Christian (no that wasn't a spelling error!) and are still saving for a house of our own (or maybe a long trip overseas).  She plays bball (which I'm shite at) and I still play rugby (which I'm also shite at), but what you gonna do, eh?

We spent Christmas in Samoa last year and only bumped into James buying bread at Lyn's - I wondered why you had so many questions about married life, James.

Take care, Jeb. Great photo's of your wife and son - you must be thankful he's got your wifes looks, eh? (and the website one of your son and your parents - muscle man's still looking good - send my love to them).
I will send some photos in one day.

PS: I replied to Norman and hopefully he'll get back to me.  What's he doing here?
That's all from me - feel free to edit as you want.  I didn't realise how long it would be.

Hi Jeb.

I realised after I'd sent the email yesterday that I might not have mentioned my wifes name anywhere - can't have that can we? Sarah Jane is her name.  She's full Tongan and we differ in age by two weeks.  We'll have real fruit salad children (Samoan, Tongan , Scottish, Irish - or NZ).

Still waiting to hear from Pastor.
