Strode Family: Pictured Kara with son Danny and Debra

The Strode family has been connected with the Halloween massacre since the beginning. Lauire Strode was adopted by the Strodes from the Myers family. Events to what led to Laurie being adopted are unknown but many suspect the Myers parents died in an auto accident of some sort.
Laurie's stepfather, Mr. Strode, ran a real estate business known as Strode Realty
Laurie seemed to have pretty nice relationship with her parents considering Mr. Strode depended on her to do task for him (as dropping off the key to the myers house in Halloween I). She obviously was a fine student who never got into any trouble so she fits the persona of someone who would get along with their parents.
Other Strode Family Relatives
-John Strode
He bought the Myers house off his brother (laurie's dad) for cheap, while never explaining the horrible past connecting the house to his family. He was an abusive man who controlled his wife and children by any means. His wife, Debra Strode, often was fearful of speaking or acting. He was abusive to his children as seen in Halloween 6 when he gave Kara a bloody nose. He was murdered by Michael in the basement of the Myers' house.
-Debra Strode
She was the unfortunate wife of John Strode. She had two children, Kara and Tim, who she did love dearly. She was a smart woman but lived under fear and control from her husband. As soon as she received information about the bloody past connected with Myers, she took control against her husband's will to leave the house. Just as she was about to leave she noticed the ax missing from the recycling bin. She knew she placed it there, the fear that invoked was tantalizing. Unfortunately, Myers caught up with Debra and murdered her in the backyard of the Myers' house.
Kara Strode
She was a woman in control and not afraid to stand up for what she didn't agree on. She disliked her father's control and felt sympathy for her mother. Kara also had a child early in life out of wedlock. John taunted her about it which did enrage her. She attended college and was studying psychology during the events of Halloween 6. She escaped the clutches of Myers and her whereabouts are unknown. She possibly fled Haddonfield never looking back as some have suggested.
-Tim Strode
He had a humorous attitude and loud personality. He had a girlfriend, Beth, which he showed deep affection for. Tim really didn't seem to be affected by his father's abusive nature but stood up for his family when his father became physical. Tim was murdered by Myers in the upstairs bathroom of the Myers' House.
-Danny Strode
He is the son of Kara Strode and was independent for his age. He lived with his grandparents and mother since Kara couldn't support him alone. Mrs. Blankenship claimed he hears the same voice as Michael did before he murdered his sister. Danny escaped with his mother; whereabouts unknown.
