Spike

Spike came to sunnydale with his love Drucilla, after killing the anointed one he ruled as head vampire of sunnydale for sometime. The slayer had good reason to be nervous as spike had in his time killed two other slayers, the Scooby gang always put down his best attempts and his hatred of the slayer grew. After Angel became Angulas, spike grew jealous of dru’s affection for her sire, he teamed up with the slayer in a attempt to stop Angulas opening the gates to hell, knowing it would get him out of dru’s way, and out of their lives. Dru disgusted by spike’s alliance with the slayer later left him for a chaos demon, leaving him to return to sunnydale as sad and broken man.

When next we saw spike he had an old friend of cordelia’s on his arm, he was searching for the ring of amar, it gave invincibility to vampire’s. Buffy quickly put a stop to his plan and sent the ring to La for Angel , spike followed but never got it back. On returning to sunnydale spike was then kidnapped by a government agency called the initiative, they put a micro chip inside his head stopping him from killing humans, leaving the once fierce vampire neutered .He asked for help from the Scooby’s in return for money and has been hanging around them ever since, although sometimes trying to get rid of the slayer he has recently realized his love for her.
