Ran away from home at an early age, wandering from robber band to robber band, never sticking with any of them. Decided he liked commanding otherbeasts. Started a band of his own eventually. Band was made up mostly of ferrets, with the scattering of stoats, weasels, and rats. The huge wolf's wanderings brought him across a pine marten with a wooden leg. He said his name was Ashleg, and he deserted a wildcat's army. Nomscru liked his spirit, and he kept Ashleg with him everywhere he went. Eventually he and Ashleg became the best of mates. One day, Nomscru's band came across the ship, Plunderor. He and Ashleg both agreed to join the horde, and the rest is history.
