Mission:
From Kesla's Journal~

Day1: I were 'alf asleep when I 'eard all the yellin'. Cursin' meself fer bein' caught off guard, I 'urried t'ward the palace. That were when I found out that 'Is 'Ighness 'ad been robbed. Seems a new recruit dinna like 'is share o' the loot, so the idiot made off wid one o' 'Is Lordships gold cups. "Kesla!" Lord Ublaz bellowed at me. I stood quakin' in me boots. I 'ad seen 'Is 'Ighness mad befer, but 'e were beyond simply bein' mad. It took a while fer 'im t' get through scoldin' me fer bein' caught asleep. "Now." 'E sez after 'e be done yellin'. "Ye take three fully loaded ships an' bring me cup back. I want Dragpaw too an' that lot 'e's taken up wid. Them I c'n use. Pick cap'n's an' go. NOW!" I turned an' fled t'ward the 'arbor, callin' on me own crew t' round up those who 'ad nothin' better t' do. "Alright, ye lot." I began, pacin' infront o' them. "I need two beasts t' assist me as me cap'n's." From the lot I picked a large gold wildcat who called 'erself 'Deadeye', an' a shady lookin' pine marten called 'Blackcloud'. Wid that taken care o', I gave the command an' we set sail t'ward Mossflow'r an' the stolen cup. Day2: We nearly lost the Blacksail durin' a sudden storm last nite. She took on a lot o' water an' it took ferever t' get 'er pumped dry. We 'ave no ider what way ol' Dragpaw 'eaded, but Arrafang be sure 'e took this route, it bein' the fastest t' Mossflow'r. Day7: It dinna take very long fer us t' find Dragpaw's tracks leadin' int' the woods. I called a 'alt at the very edge o' the trees. " 'Ere's where we split up, mates." I sez, quite like, incase Dragpaw be lissenin' t' us. "Deadeye, take yor crew an' 'ead east, Blackcloud, ye be takin' west, the rest o' us be 'eadin south in t' the woods." The crews spilt up, each takin' the assigned path. It were darkfall befer we found anythin'. Day8: "Who goes there?" Somebeast asked, throwin' a spear at the ground in front o' me. I sez, makin' me voice all tough, "Kesla Darkclaw o' Sampetra." They must o' liked that 'cause they came out, wid ol' Dragpaw in the lead. I waited, knowin' that the rest o' me mates would be showin' up soon, so t' buy some time, I did me best at idle chitchat. "Who be the leader o' this crew?" A large ferret stepped for'ard. "I be." 'E sez. "I be Redscar Deathfang, an' I lead the Red Death. What be yor business 'ere, lass?" I goes on t' tell 'im about 'ow impressed Lord Ublaz be wid 'is crew, an' 'ow 'E would be 'onored t' 'ave the Red Death take up berth on Sampetra. "What in it fer me?" Redscar asked. "A swift ship, a share o' all the loot, an' a chance t' plunder whenever an' whatever ye be wantin'. All I be askin' is one Dragpaw an' the gold cup 'e stole." Redscar looked like 'e be wantin' t' think it o'er, but at that moment the other two crews showed themselves, puttin' a end t' thinkin' o'er anythin'. Widout a word Dragpaw, were shoved at me, an' the cup were tossed t' Arrafang, who caught it an' neatly slipped it in 'is pack. That taken care o' we set out back to'ard our ships, the Red Death smartly broken int' three groups, each t' be placed on the three different ships. Dragpaw 'ow ever would be our eyes. 'E were tied t' the top 'o the mast. Day14: The 'arbor o' Sampetra were loaded wid our mates welcomin' back the 'eros o' the day. Lord Ublaz were 'appy that most o' the Red Death made it safe an' sound t' Sampetra. Minus the two score who 'ad no manners. It were my personal pleasure t' escort Dragpaw t' the slave prisons an' slam the bolt 'ome. I were tol' that 'is mangy carcass is now one o' the rugs fer the slaves t' sleep on. Kesla Darkclaw
