Mission 388
by Mark Darknight

Mission:
CDR Mark Darknight began by assembling a crew of two score sea rat along with a score of monitors to go and retrieve the lost plunder. It was smooth sailing for the first few days and the rest of the mission is best understood by the Journal entries of CDR Darknight.

October17,
We went through an incredible storm that seemed to come from a southeastern direction. The storm lasted for three days and we lost all of the supplies for the way back we will have to find quite a bit of supplies around mossflower before we will be able to make the Journey home still no sign of land but our maps tell us we must be close to land.

October 19,
Land HOOOOO… and was sighted just about an hour ago. We have a strong wind at our backs so we should reach shore before nightfall. It's a sandy coast so we should have no trouble pulling right up to shore to gather some supplies while we prepare to search the coast for the remains of the ship.

October 31,
After over a week of searching we have found no more than enough food to keeps our stomachs from rumbling and we havenm't been able top find any supplies I am leaving half of the crew on land while the rest of the crew and I go back into the ship and sail down the coast for a while to see if we have any better luck in another area.

November 9,
We found some drift wood that appeared to have the INSU symbol an the side and so have decided to land and see if we can find any survivors that will tell us where to look for the treasure.

November 10,
We found almost a score of survivors from the ship who had luckily managed to find supplies for a long trip back however they were not able to give us any Idea of where to look for the Plunder because of the storm that had caused the shipwreck.

November 15,
I have decided that are best chance of finding the lost treasure was to just begin diving. Luckily there has been a warm current flowing from the south and so we are able to dive without freezing. All we have found so far is one chest of lute as for the rest we are still looking. We set up a signal fire today and called the rest of my crew back so that we would be able to have more divers.

November 30,
We found the remainder of the plunder but it is very far out to sea. Also we have run in to the cursed GOUSIM. Because we are not causing any trouble they have only been picking off our scavenging parties but if we don't gather some more supplies we could be stuck here for a long time. On the other hand all the plunder has been recovered so all we have left to do is collect some more food we have plenty of water from a nearby stream and so we hope to return to Sampetra soon.

December 10,
The GOUSIM launched a full scale attach today however with the small camp wall we set up our superior size and numbers easily turned them back running we then able to raid there camp of supplies and now have enough to set sail for Sampetra.

January 5,
We have the Jetty in our view and will be home within the hour with all plunder recovered and a score of homesick vermin who could use a good grog about now as for this mission it has been quite a breeze.

January 6,
MISSION complete all the plunder is returned to his Majesty's treasury and all vermin have been assigned to new ships and are awaiting orders fir their next mission.
