Mission:
Knowing that failure was not an option I took extra
time planning how I would distinguish and eliminate
the reincarnation of Graylunk that Emperor Ublaz had
dreamed about. I decided that the best way to find
the true Traitor would be to play the part of someone
trying to join the rebellion.
I Began by going to the taverns and looking for any conversation that could possibly be part of a rebellion. I listened to vermin chatting about every topic amaginable. For days that turned into weeks I had no leads from this method. I was about to make another plan when finally I found several vermin talking about Graylunk. When I carefully listened in closer I was able to determine that they were talking about a rebellion. I carefully followed them to their chambers. However they walked right past their rooms to a part of the Castle I had never seen before. While I carefully followed them while keeping my distance. I heard them give a secret nock on a door. I had found their headquarters!
The next day I found the to vermin I had seen talking the night before. I asked them if they had heard anything about a rebllion. They became defensive quickly but I was able to settle them down and tell them that I wanted to join the rebellion. They took me back to the room I had seen before. Inside I found almost 5 score of vermin all listening to one vermin who was standing on a platform in the middle of everything of everyone else. In his speech I heard the vermin in the middle(whose name, I learned, actually was Graylunk!!) say tonight we will remove Ublaz from his throne.
I knew I only had several hours o kill him or Ublaz would die. Although these vermin were few in number I could tell that they were much better fighter than most of the remaining vermin that were still loyal to Ublaz. I quickly decided that it would be best to kilo Graylunk from within his rebellion instead of just trying to attack hi entire horde. I figured that if the leader was taken out the rest of the rebellion would crumble.
I joined the ranks of Graylunk and since I had been fairly high ranking in Ublaz's army I was given a high rank in Graylunk's. That night, only hours before the panned attack I requested a private meeting with Graylunk. The foolish general allowed this. I knew with my supior fighting skills I would easily and quickly be able to finish him off. However, my biggest problem still remained. I had to somehow convince Graylunk's hordes that Graylunk had somehow been killed by a spirit or some other bad omen so that his horde would repledge alleagence to Ublaz.
In my private meeting while Gaylunk turned his back to me I quickly removed his head, cleaned my sword and tossed the head out the window. I quickly made another head out of rags coated with a bread dough I had learned how to make in previous years. I then took flour and made the dough ,that was in the shape of Graylunks head, white by sprinkleing the flour on top of it. I sewed my fake head onto Graylunks real body so that it looked like his head had magically shriveled up. I tied my self up in a chair and then called in Graylunk's guards and made up a story of how a spirit had tied me up and killed graylunk. The idiotic guards believed the story whole heartedly and then quickly told the rest of the horde that Ublaz was the righthful ruler of Sampetra and that they must all return to his service.
