Behind Enemy Lines

Action-Owen Wilson stars as Lt. Chris Burnett, a Navy pilot who just sent in his two-week notice to Adm. Leslie Reigart, played by Gene Hackman. While on a Christmas re-con mission over Bosnia, Burnett persuades his navigator, Stackhouse (Gabriel Macht), to fly over Bosnia and take some pictures, just for fun. They take pictures of some forbidden ground (I won't tell what to spoil the movie!) and their plane is shot down. The Bosnians then try to captues Burnett and Stackhouse, while Reigart and the rest of the Navy try to get them back.

8/10-It's nice to see Wilson do something else besides comedy (and now with The Royal Tenenbaums, a dramedy). This movie showed that he can do more than be the idiot. Gene Hackman was great, as usual, and could win (if he was nominated) best supporting actor. BEL was an excellent movie with a lot of suspense, even though it was very predictable.
Rated PG-13 for war violence, language, and suspense.
