Comedy-Longfellow Deeds, or Deeds as he's called, runs a pizza town in a small town no one's heard of. He writes greeting cards in his spare time. But he is contacted by employees of Blake television company. The owner, Preston Blake, just died and his money, and stock, is unknown of it's future destination. It turns out that Blake is Deeds' great-uncle and he's the owner of $40 billion. So he's a fish out of water, it's the first time he's left his small town and also the first time he's been to New York. A reporter for a tabloid, Babe Bennett, goes and pretends to be a nurse to get more dirt in the Deeds/Blake story. Guess what happens?

6/10-An atypical Sandler movie. He actually didn't play a childish adult, like in Billy Madison and Big Daddy. He's a sweet guy who's the town favorite. Winona Ryder seemed to not work in this setting; her diologue seemed forced. It wasn't funny in every single part, but the parts that were funny were very funny. I loved John Jurturro in his role as the foot-obsesed butler who is "very sneaky, sir".

I was surprised on how tame the language was; since this is a Sandler, I expeceted it to be more profane, but it was only scarce, and Sandler only used it once (I was shocked)! I haven't seen the original, so I can't judge from that, but now it's going to go on my movie-to-rent list.
Rated PG-13 for some language.
