Horror-Nancy is friends with Tina. Tina's boyfriend is Rod, and Nancy's is Glen. But, one night they all have the same nightmare of scar-faced Fred Krueger trying to kill them. But when Tina is killed in her dreams, everyone thinks Rod did it and is in a temporary jail. Now Nancy must try to figure out how to stop the dream-infesting Fred Krueger (whose motives we find out about later) while trying to get Rod out of jail for a crime he did not do.

7/10-A genre-defining film. It wasn't real thrilling until the end, but it was fun to go around with Nancy in the dreams, sometimes not knowing whether she was sleeping or awake. I especially liked her crazy invention to catch Fred. The acting was kind of poor, but I think that Robert was really good as Fred. Obviously, the ending is kind of predictable, since there's six sequels (I think), but it's a fun movie. One more thing-did they ever mention that they lived on Elm Street?
Rated R for violence.
