Oil of Anise

The ripe fruit and dried seeds provide the plant's medicinal oil.

Essential oil of Anise:
0.3 grams

Anise is an expectorant that helps bring up phlegm.
It's a mild muscle relaxant, and shows antibacterial activity.
It is well known for its ability to sweeten breath.

Preparations of essential oil of Anise can be used for inhalation.

Used for colic in infants.

Removes Nausea

Prevents fermentation of gas in stomach amd bowels
aids digestion overcoming disturbances caused by overeating.
Anise is used for an upset stomach,
but its effectiveness for this problem remains unproven.

Promote onset of menstruation, taken as an infusion

Anise oil helps relieve cramping and spasms,
good stomach tonic.

USE INTERNALLY

Oil of Anise

EXTERNAL
Make into a salve for scabies and lice good
general cleansing bath is made with a handful
of anise seeds and a few bay leaves.
