Taking a deep breath, aware of all the eyes steady on her. Sheila started to sing, her voice loud to drown out the still pleased cheering.

Everybody's looking for that something. One thing that makes it all complete. You'll find it in the strangest places: places you never knew it could be.

She looked around the room, which had gone deathly quiet, listening to her words. The redhead’s eyes fell on her brother, and she smiled, then glanced at his unicorn friend.

Some find it in the face of their children; some find it in their lover's eyes. You can't deny the joy it brings when you've found that special thing, you're flying without wings.

Moving on, she smiled at Presto, who nodded and smiled back.

Some find the cheer in every morning, some in the solitary night. You'll find it in the words of others: a simple line can make you laugh... Or cry. You'll find it in the deepest friendship, the kind you cherish all your life, and when you know how much that means you found that special thing, you're flying without wings.

Steadier, feeling more sure of herself, Sheila let her eyes rove to where Diana sat next to Eric. Both were watching her intently, and the Thief wondered briefly if the pair were aware of just how close they sat, how nearly their hands touched.

So impossible as it may seem, you’ve got to find forever a dream, ‘cause who's to know which one you let go would have made you complete...

With a deep breath, Sheila swayed to the music, letting her eyes roam to the last friend... to the one she was singing for. She caught his light blue eyes and smiled, holding them. And, suddenly, she wasn’t nervous anymore, looking into his face.

Well for me it's waking up beside you to watch the sunrise on your face: to know that I can say "I love you" in any given time or place. It's little things that only I know. Those are the things that make you mine and it's like flying without wings, ‘cause you’re my special thing; I'm flying without wings.

As dawning understanding came over Hank, his eyes widened and he slowly stood, walking towards her. Standing below her perch on the bench, he reached up and grasped her hips, swinging her down to the floor in front of him as she finished her song, a smile on her pretty features.

And you’re the place my life begins, and you'll be where it ends; I'm flying without wings. And that’s the joy it brings... I'm flying without wings...

Hank leaned forward, almost swaying with the spell of the love song, but caught himself a breath or two away from changing their relationship forever. Instead, he smiled softly and whispered, "Thank you... that was beautiful, Sheila..." Then, he let his eyes start to drift shut, swaying towards her that last little bit...

To be interrupted by Eric’s voice calling out across the floor. "I’ve got a song for Bobby." The couple sprang apart, flushing and looking towards their companions, guilt written clearly across their features.
