I m the 7th of the 8 child of late Harihar Dutta & Tilottama Dutta. My date of birth? Sorry, I was too young to remember! My father was a witty, yet angry man who loved literature and guests. He was from the Ratanpur village, near Nityananda, Bajalee Sub-divn., Nalbari District of Assam. He  along with friends used to publish a hand written periodical from that village. He had, like any poor rural folk, faced struggle and hardship for education & establishment. 

        After trying various businesses, he migrated to Tangla in 1955 for a fresh start with wife & 3 kids. He started business there, but ultimately succeeded as a Homoeopath! He was famous among the people in distant parts of the district. But still he faced another phase of financial hardship here also. In 1970, half of his body got paralysed due to cerebral stroke. In 1980, he died in the 2nd cerebral stroke.

         My mother is a simple lady who loved talking, laughing and fish a lot. She was dominated, like any traditional husband, by my father. She has now turned 72.

         The eldest brother helped father in the pharmacy since 1970 when he was just 14 years. Since 1980, he had to look after the whole family which he had done very efficiently and tactfully by running the homoeopathy practice with equal capability. He lives in Tangla with his small family.

          I specially recall care, guidance and education of my eldest sister in my childhood. My reading habit, curiosity and inclination to art has been nourished by her.

              I got married on 5th March, 02 to Liku Baruah, a 26 years lovely girl from Guwahati. I published matrimonial in News Paper when she responded. She has training on Bharat Natyam & Kathhak, RAP Dancing etc. She is very brave, very pure & honest, and has a heart full of love & kindness for everything in this universe. In spite of being quite modern & open, she is very descent.

How we got married

We have been blessed with a kid 'ORCHID', on 18th Jan, 05. He is now almost 2 years old. We organised a 1 day charitable children film show on his 8th Jan 06 to to do something nice on his birth-month.

Philosophy:

           I had always been very curious and tried to analyse things. Since my youth, I have become a Rationalist, Atheist & progressive person: I have an open, independent & scientific mind. Science is my Religion & Facts r my God.  I stand above religion & race. My modus-operandi is simple, I ask 'Why?' and ' How?'. Whenever possible, I try to probe any 'super-natural' phenomenon, or such claims, and also try to bring the scientific conscience among people.

       Though not politically active, I love Communism, coz its the most scientific and humane system, and true nourisher of scientific & progressive thoughts.

       Unlike common Indians, I keep Sex at a very esteemed place and hate hypocrisy about it. I take it seriously and as a beautiful part of our life. My principle about sexual act is very simple, 'If it doesn't harm, its good'. However, I am against playing selfish in sex. I go by the Indian Word "Sambhog" ( meaning  Equal Enjoyment of both Partners). I obtained very in-depth & scientific info. on sex since my youth. 

        I am in favour of simplicity, ease and compactness. I am down to earth, humorous, sincere & honest (I mean, I do not lie unless I am in real trouble).

       No, I m not careerist and materialistic.

Activities & Interests:

           I composed few music (basically in MIDI), wrote few songs and yes, dare to sing - even when I am not in bathroom!.  see Dinning Hall Singer

           Photography is my passion. I possess in-depth knowledge of photography & cameras (including Digital & MiniDV).

           I used to make miniature wax-models too.

           I have many other hobbies & interests including System Programming.

 

          Learning is my another passion. I want to go into detail of anything. I am also inclined to any technical things. All those resulted, in a rich, wide & wild spectrum of knowledge. I prefer various subject-oriented books (Science/ Technology/ Sociology/ Archeology/ Anthropology/ Murphy's Law, Tintin/Asterix & what not ?). Also I love detective fictions of Sherlock Holmes/ Christy/ Poe, child-literature, Satire, Pun & Humour...  

          I love puzzles & riddles a lot.

 

          Sorry, I m least interested in Sports (sports had ruined so many great Cartoon shows and Sunday programmes on our national TV channel). I don't watch Cricket at all.

          I prefer veg. for a healthy life. Naturally, I keep away from smoking & alcohol.

Dreams:

       I have a dream to create a Tintin-like comics ( once got an offer too.), write some books, make some animation too. But above all, I dream days will change, and equality will prevail... We all will share the bright sunlight under the same blue sky. The blessings of civilisation, medicine & technology will reach every door-step.
