The Sanctuary

Evermore…

When will I wake up? I drown in apathy It wakes inside me Into who I wanna be I'm so glad you can take it Yea I could always fake it But oh I would only brake you Put yourself in my place I'm gettin mighty thin It matters nobody My name forgotten What a silent piece of morning Shining down on all the world but me Some pretty paper, For some it might have fit I'm bunin out here With my soul on fire The crime is early More than a day now Some cinders fall Onto the melted floor They seem tattered Just like our jaded hearts In this the night time We are all but one Once in a black out The whisper found me It said to be yourself Now I am evermore We kneel in homage Make our confessions Throw a hand up Have you ever burned? Quite as hot as this It feels as pure as Looking at the sun All the water Thrown without regret I'm burnin out here With my soul on fire The crime is early More than a day now Some cinders fall Onto the melted floor They seem tattered Just like our jaded hearts In this the night time We are all but one.
