Codec And encoding help
We had to make a codec page for you encoders and you videos viewers. The new divx div3 div 4 div 5 dvx50 . You may have been getting some widescreen avi files you cannot open. Well those codecs are not even coming on windows xp media player. I would suggest the playa or the playa 2. Its is free and will give you those avi codecs you need to play the divx files.
Also There will be some names that might fool you. We are here to help you in encoding your video files.. Remember your two best friends for internet video will be windows media files wmv and quicktime files. These files give you the smallest file size for the best quality. I would suggest above 388 or above kbps for smooth video. With quicktime be sure to use ez cleaner 5 and chose big movie download. If you are encoding avi to mpeg to divx files be shure to check out tmg or do more interest in the word vcd encoder. Vcd disks are the harders thing to hit the streets. mpeg to dvd. Who could aks more. and burned on a normal cd and can play in most dvd players. No wonder Mexico City is one of the largest bootleggers of dvd's in the world. They burn to vcd and save thousands of dollars. Now you shouldn't bootleg. But you should make you own home videos and go straight to dvd.
Remember when trying to view divx files windows xp doesnt give you the right codex for the divx50 and the div3 and the div4 and the dvx codecs. The playa is giving you all the right codec for the divx avi files and the encodec mpeg-3 and mpeg-4 files. Remember to set your buffer high. Quicktime just came out with a new encoder that is better than ez player 5 for encoding your video. Keep your fram rate up. I dont have time to post the links. just go to a search engine and type download the playa codec or go to kazaa and go to software. Then type divx codec. Get your codec to play our new videos!!!
