Drake. The game ended with a total of 64 penalty minutes. Cooke and Drake dropped the gloves with each other twice in the first period of the game resulting in there ejections. Then in the 2nd period, Sharks forward Matt Stajan got ejected because of and elbow he through at Mike Comrie, who was injured on the play. The play will be reviewed by the league, but it seems no disciplinary action will take place. The Eagle was steady yet again between the pipes stopping 26 of the 27 shots he faced. Steven Reinprecht had another great outting collecting 2 assists. While Bouwemeester, St. Louis, Saprykin, and McCauley tallied the goals for the Sharks. Nieuwendky's 3rd period goal was the only one the Oilers could muster. The Sharks now fly back home for a rematch against the Islanders, who the Sharks beat a couple nights ago 3-0. With Belfour's current great play look for him to get the start in net yet again. |
