(January 9, 2006)--The San Jose Sharks are pleased to announce the selections of Mark Stuart (1st overal) and Jarkko Immonen (4th overal) in the 20th round of the draft that took place this morning. Both players will more then likely begin the season playing on the farm. Stuart a native of Rochester, Minnesota is a big, mean, strong, stay at home defence man that loves to play the body. While Immonen, from Finland, is a creative centerman that has elite hockey senses and can pass the biscuit to a teammate flawlessly. |
