Paul and Carrie Foerster met with the president of CompuCom, Mr. Ed Anderson, a few weeks ago. He has moved to Dallas, joined Rush Creek Yacht Club and started sailing MC scows. In the 1970s he was an Olympic Campaigner himself, sailing in the Finn class.
Mr. Anderson found out about the Team 2000 Olympic Campaign through the Rush Creek Yacht Club web page (www.rcycl.org) which has a direct link to the campaign web page (www.rcyc.org/team_2000). He also spoke with one of Rush Creek's expert MC sailors, Greg Gust, who recounted the story of Paul's winning the Black Tie Regatta in 1997. Interested in Paul's past experience and in forwarding Paul's current efforts, Mr. Anderson seized an opportunity for both CompuCom and Team 2000 to benefit from this journey to the 2000 Olympics.
