Team 2000 Press Release

Regatta Boat

With just days to spare the Kitty Hawk Corporation came to the rescue with funds to buy a new-used 470 for Team 2000. With this boat the team was able to race in the so-called "container regatta" in Newport, RI. With lots of adventures between paying for the boat and getting it to Newport, the team was able to compete and then pack up the boat for it's trip to the 470 World Championships in Tel Aviv, Israel.
