Character name: Sakuya Umeda (Keax)
Age: 15, junior
Year/level: 1
Position: point guard
Past: Played in Tokyo Junior High. Was awarded MVP.
Goal: To fulfill his life-long commitment as a point guard, love and represent basketball and to be an excellent player.
Personality: Short-fused and kinda rash. Silent unless provoked. Fights very well. Tries not to worry older brothers but fails terribly. Was the MVP of the JH IH. Supports brother's inheritance of the empire. Not bad in studies. Serious and rarely speaks. Can't stand insults
Character name: Shinobu Umeda (Jigs)
Age: 16
Year/level: 2
Position: Forward (any)
Past: Played in Tokyo Junior High. He was always teased at when was little and since then he thought he can't trust or befriend anybody, except his brothers and other close family. He did have a best friend and has lost contact because of the often moving. But after some time, he started to open up to everyone and is trying to socialize more.
Goal: To be the best and not ruin or stain the family name.
Personality: Silent and often short-tempered. Hates having competitors especially in academics (except his brothers). Only talks openly to his brothers. Likes the wind and seas very much. Good in class especially in Mathematics.
Character name: Shinji Umeda (Fila)
Age: 17
Year/level: 2
Position: small forward
Past: Played in Junior High. Was studying in Tokyo High, playing basketball for school team along with his brother. An injury last year, caused him to stop playing basketball which also caused him an MVP. This year, he is back, playing basketball for his last chance on the MVP.
Goal: To continue the legacy, the long line of basketball players in the family and to be one of the best players in Japan.
Personality: Quiet, keeps to himself most of the time. Cares for this two younger brothers and always looking out for them. Thinks bout their needs before his own and yet not forgetting his goals. He was tops in terms of study for the 2 years he was in Tokyo High. He is the successor of the Umeda empire.
About the Umeda(s)
Widely known as the Umeda Empire, consisting of International Hotel Chains, restaurants, supermarkets and also a diamond mine. Their father train them, himself amidst his busy schedule. They move form state to state because of their father's job. To be the best in everything is basically the Umeda's motto. And they achieve that through hard work, not money which they can easily afford. The Umedas are known for their exceptionally creative basketball skills which was passed down from generations to generations, along with their well developed empire. |
