FORLORN OCEAN

Rukawa looked emptily at the dark purple tinted black velvet sky.

Empty, not because of loneliness, but the missing presence of a certain someone.

Sighing, he picked up the phone and automatically dialed the all too familiar number.

"Can you come over now?"

An affirmative answer came from the other end. And Rukawa drew a relieved sigh. Replacing the phone, he tried to wait patiently.

Around 20 minutes went by... and an abrupt knocking on his front door jerked
him awake from his restless slumber.

Rukawa swung open the door and closed his eyes as warmth surged through him when two arms embraced him protectively.

"I missed you." Rukawa whispered.
Sendoh chuckled.

They made their way to the open balcony of Rukawa's room, which overlooks the forlorn ocean.

"I used to gaze at the ocean alone." Rukawa confessed.

"Until I came along...?" Sendoh asked as he kissed Rukawa lightly.

"Until you came along..." Rukawa smiled slightly as he returned the kiss with unmatched passion and utmost love.

The 2 lovers were so caught up in their kiss, that they missed seeing a shooting star dash across the velvet sky before sinking into the lonesome ocean.

Somehow... no one would be alone in this world.
