This was my favourite Sapporo of all and to date has covered 192,000 miles. It is now off the road due to corrosion. (Cry!).

Bought in Nov '95, this '84 Sapporo Turbo was about to be crushed at breakers. I brought it back to Jersey and set about preparing it to be re-sprayed. |
| It had covered 118,000 miles, and although not rotten, was fairly rusty underneath. I rubbed down the rust and treated the chassis with underseal etc. | |

I also fitted twin head lamps and grille from a UK spec MK1 Sapporo and Alley Cat alloy wheels. |
| This particular car had a vinyl roof which I decided to include in the final finish. | |

As you can see I decided to colour code various parts of the interior to match the exterior. |
| Virtually complete (needing only the boot lid spoiler and bonnet scoop). You can see
it finished in Fiat metallic exploit yellow (this was pearlescent, ranging from lime green in dull weather to gleaming yellow in
sunlight).
