**UPDATED 5/19/04

1. Well, it's official-- I'm going to be a missionary with Servant Partners for the next several years! My main prayer request in that arena is in regards to support-raising. Pray that God would call people to commit to supporting me monthly, and to praying regularly for me. Mission work really is a group effort, even when it's just one individual going! I'm recognizing how dependent I am on God to provide for me. Please also pray for my spiritual preparation to live incarnationally among the poor.

2. It is such a challenge to live both in the now and in the future, staying focused on my ministry here while I prepare for my future in Bangkok. Please pray that God would help me keep my energy level up and continue to lay my life down for this fellowship and campus. Just because it is near the end of the school year does not mean God is done working! He does not operate on the same timelines we do. Pray that I would remember that these next few weeks.

3. Since April I have been attending a Bible Study with a few women from my church here in Eugene. I have also been helping out at an information table on Sunday mornings after the service. These two opportunities have helped me feel more connected in that church-- praise God! Please pray that I would continue to develop more friendships there and that I would find people excited to support my mission in Thailand.
